The Community Service Club of Louis Pasteur Middle School 67 has decided to take action in the fight against cancer by participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life right here in our community. The event is scheduled for May 31, 2008, at the Little Neck Farm. Relay For Life ® is about celebration, remembrance, and hope. By participating, we are honoring cancer survivors, paying tribute to the lives we’ve lost to the disease, and raising money to help fight it.
The MS 67 Team’s objective is to raise $1000.00 by the day of the Relay For Life event. Please champion this important cause by joining our group and participating in the many upcoming events and fundraisers that will enable us to reach our goal. If you are unable to attend these functions and would like to support our efforts, you can do so by making a donation. You can make a tax-deductible donation by sending your contribution to Louis Pasteur Middle School 67. Please make all checks payable to: American Cancer Society. Whatever you can give will help – it all adds up! We greatly appreciate your financial assistance.
To become a member of the MS 67 Relay For Life team it is necessary to register online at http://events.cancer.org/RFLqueensfarmNY or contact Mrs. Bogaty to receive a registration form. There is a $10 registration fee for each participant and all students must be supervised by an adult. For more information regarding Relay For Life, log onto the website at WWW.RELAYFORLIFE.ORG. We will also be providing you with information and updates of future activities and the status of our drive efforts to achieve our target.
