A Parent outing….. Fort Totten Fitness Walk & Guided Tour of the Bayside Historical Society
Start with a brisk walk around the grounds of the fort and then learn about the rich history of Bayside. Adults only.

  • Fitness Walk (approximately 2 miles) 9:00 am to 10:00 am
  • Meet at Fort Totten gate at 9:00 am.
  • Guided Tour of Bayside Historical Society (BHS) 10:15 am to 11:45 am.  Meet at BHS at 10:15 am.

Sponsored by Friends of Cunningham Park with funds provided by Councilman Barry Grodenchik  Kids and the Classics Workshop. This interactive workshop for children ages 4 to 12 gives them the opportunity to preview the characters and situations, creating links between the text and their own lives through theater games and the close reading of text. Prince Hal is caught between two worlds, in a tavern, and at court.  Shakespear’s action packed coming of age story asks “What makes a good leader?”  Rain date: August 20th.
