Nourish Your Family Naturally – (4/17, 9 AM at MS 74 and 4/24, 6:30 PM at PS 41) Dr. Susan Cucchiara returns to District 26 to share her wealth of knowledge about nutrition and natural healing. Click HERE for details.

Parenting a Child with a Disability – (4/17, 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM at PS 46) Include NYC presenter will share her personal and professional experiences parenting and advocating for her child with special needs. Click HERE for details.

Unique Book Club (April) – (4/20, 8:45 AM at PS 115 and 4/24, 6:15 at PS 213) A book club for parents interested in reading, sharing, and learning together about living with disabilities. The book for April is Riding the Bus with My Sister. Click HERE for details.

Mindful Mondays in May – (5/7 and 5/14, 9 AM to 11 AM at PS 376) A two-part workshop to help parents find a new sense of balance through mindfulness techniques. A great opportunity to support social and emotional learning in the home! Click HERE for details.

Queens Hackathon Spring 2018 – (4/21, 9 AM to 4 PM at Queens High School of Teaching) An all day computer science event for students (grades 3-12) and their parents sponsored by Queens North and South Field Support Centers. Click HERE for details.

Korean Native Language Family Event – The Parenting Journey: Taking care of the whole child- (4/12, 3 PM to 7 PM at Korean Community Services of Metropolitan NY, Bayside)  This FACE parent conference will offer multiple workshops presented in Korean to help parents support their child’s emotional, physical and intellectual development while maintaining their own overall wellness.  Click HERE for details.
